Weird Interface Issues?
Our web interface does weird things when using ad blocking extensions like AdBlock. Just white-list easytracks.com – don’t worry, we don’t muck-up our interface with ads.
How Do I Use Easy Tracks?
A bunch of videos on how to use Easy Tracks can be found on our tutorials page found HERE. Basically – Login, choose a song, customize your playback options, learn the parts (slow the song down, isolate the parts). Once you can play your part, mute that part and and see if you have what it takes to step in and cover that band members part on your own!
Are These the Actual Original Recordings?
No. Easy Tracks team has spent countless hours to create these sound alike recordings. Countless are spent transcribing, learning and replaying/singing all of the parts so you can isolate each part for your listening and practicing pleasure.
How Can I Use Easy Tracks for Live Rehearsals/Performances?
A video on how to use the Easy Tracks app for live rehearsals/performances can be found HERE. We suggest using the mobile app for rehearsals and live use. The mobile app directly downloads the song to your device (so you won’t have to stream it and hope your internet is fast). You can send the audio to a PA or speaker via bluetooth or a headphone jack cable (for iOS devices that don’t have a headphone out, you must use the correct dongle attachment).
You can pan the click (metronome) to one side and the music to the other so the audience does not hear the click. This is useful when playing with a drummer etc. Push the “live” button on the top right of the screen. This pans the music to one side (Left) and the click to the other side (Right). If you iOS device doesn’t have a headphone jack, use the appropriate dongle that allows you to connect a a headphone (1/8th inch) cable to two 1/4 inch cables. Send the click 1/4 inch cable (the right one) to the drummers mixer and headphones mix and send the music quarter inch (the left one) to the front of house mixer.
Can I Use Easy Tracks For Cover Song Recordings?
If you wish to record a cover version of a song then you must acquire a mechanical license. Our friends at easysonglicensing.com can help you out if you have any questions.
